Renewables Feasibility Study
Client: Approved premises facility with high energy consumption
Challenge: Evaluate viability of solar PV, BESS, and backup generator for energy efficiency and resilience.
Our Approach:
- Conducted non-intrusive data logging for 118 hours to capture load, phase balance, and consumption metrics
- Analysed voltage stability, peak demand, and annual projections
- Evaluated system options including G98-compliant PV, Li-ion BESS, and diesel generator
- Calculated financials, CO2 savings, and compliance with BS 7671 and PAS 63100:2024
Outcome:
- Recommended 11 kWp PV with 7-year payback and 90% self-consumption
- Suggested 38 kWh BESS for 4-6 hour backup and 67% ROI
